Problems with blog distribution...

There has been some glitch between Blogger and Feedburner and, to the best of my knowledge, neither of my blogs reached my subscribers. I'm hoping this post will reach you and you'll have a chance to check out the new feature on Brush-Paper-Water. I'm showcasing two Malaysian artists this week -- Ismail Kadir and Phang Chew.

This week at Brush-Paper-Water...

Pulau Kundur Village
watercolor, 12" x 18" (30cm x 45cm)
Ismail Kadir

Emerald Rocks, Fresh Water
watercolor, 27" x 33" (69cm x 84cm)
Phang Chew

Ismail Kadir and Phang Chew are two wonderful Malaysian watercolorists whose work reflects different aspects of their tropical country. They are both well-regarded and successful artists, well-known in East Asia. It's been my privilege to meet them through Facebook and I'm delighted to share their work with readers of my watercolor showcase. Hop over to Brush-Paper-Water right now and have a look!!

This week at Brush-Paper-Water...

The Farmer Kept His Rigs
watercolor, 22" x 30"
Ron Morrison

Highway to Heaven
watercolor, 22" x 28"
Diane Morgan

I'm setting off on a new adventure with this week's feature on the watercolor showcase. Instead of a single artist, I'll be presenting two artists whose work has some common thread. I'm planning to continue this as a series, but my goal this year is to go where the muse takes me, so flexibility will be the name of the game.

Ron Morrison and Diane Morgan are featured in "Car Culture" -- comparing the two artists' approaches to a common subject. Cruise on over to Brush-Paper-Water for the whole story.
