This week at Brush-Paper-Water...

The First Snowfall
watercolor, 15" x 11" (38cm x 28cm)
Aud Rye

Winter Tree
watercolor 7" x 7" (19cm x 19cm)
Anders Andersson

We're about as far away from the tropics as possible this week, enjoying the snowy landscapes of two wonderful Scandinavian watercolorists -- Aud Rye of Norway and Anders Andersson of Sweden. Both came to watercolor after working successfully in commercial art professions and each credits some excellent teachers for helping them develop their skills and their passion for the medium. I'm very pleased to share their work with you. To see their winter portfolios, pop over to Brush-Paper-Water and then link to their websites from there to see the full range of their paintings.
