This week at Brush-Paper-Water...

Hollyhock
watercolor, 4.75" x 4.75" (12cm x 12cm)
Amanda Spencer

I'm back in the editorial groove after a bit more of a break than I expected. I had to take an extra couple of weeks off to go back and help clear out my mom's house, now that she's moved to assisted living. Glad to be back!!

My featured artist this week is Amanda Spencer, a self-taught British artist who has been producing some dynamite paintings since she started in watercolor in 2005. I'm very pleased to share her work with you.

Please click over to Brush-Paper-Water for an introduction to her work and link from there to her blog to see more of her paintings.
