Happy dancin' again...

The Artist's Magazine, June 2009

I've known this was scheduled for quite a while now, but there's something about seeing it in print that finally makes it real. I'm so honored to be featured in The Artist's Magazine's "Competition Spotlight." Hope you'll pick up a copy and also take a peek at all the other fine articles in this issue.

  11. Interesting to learn that your thought process and painting process is similar to mine (paint in series, paint slow, paint florals and old "stuff"). Also your theory on entering shows - I just haven't entered too many national shows yet, but I'm working on it!
Thanks for keeping us posted here on your work - and for your BPW blog which introduces us to so many wonderful artists.
Keep up the good work (and great painting!)

I admire your technique, your subject matter, just about everything..
And you're right on about local versus regional or national shows.
