This week at Brush-Paper-Water...
I'm setting off on a new adventure with this week's feature on the watercolor showcase. Instead of a single artist, I'll be presenting two artists whose work has some common thread. I'm planning to continue this as a series, but my goal this year is to go where the muse takes me, so flexibility will be the name of the game.
Ron Morrison and Diane Morgan are featured in "Car Culture" -- comparing the two artists' approaches to a common subject. Cruise on over to Brush-Paper-Water for the whole story.

ReplyDeleteMuchas gracias, Karlitos!!
ReplyDeleteI'm very glad to see Ron's work shown here. I think his watercolors are great, and his earlier [from years ago] posts have some fabulous stories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning Ron's stories, Kathryn!! I enjoyed reading (and re-reading) them myself!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny!? I always figured everybody thought the stories were too dumb to live so I pretty well stopped doing them...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Chris! Most of my car paintings have a reflection of me in them...my Alfred Hitchcock treatment :-}
ReplyDeleteThanks to both of you, Ron and Diane, for working with me on such short notice. Diane, I'm tickled to know that each of your paintings has an "Alfred Hitchcock" moment in it!! Ron, I'd say you might want to sharpen your pencil and write a few more stories!! They really do make for fun reading!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for more great artists to check out, and like the idea of showing how different artists represent the same subject. Good job, as usual!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb -- glad you liked it!!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of two artists with a similar theme/subject but such different styles! Great work from both of these artists. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to compare and contrast -- glad you enjoyed it, Rhonda!!
